    I think about the Domus Aurea (golden house) and to the damages created by the new subway to the
    underground patrimony of Rome. I think of Federico Zeri who already in the 1948 denounced,
    unheeded, "the damages owed the excavations for the first subway of the years '40 near to the Colosseo
     external ring. The vibrations owed to the passage of the trains they jeopardize the stability of the
    monument."
    I think about the Traiana column and to the place under  Venezia square (that everybody pretends don't
    know). I think about the minute control of the substrata, through revealing, that they are adopting in
    Istanbul (Constantinople), before to start the jobs for the excavation of the subway. I think that in the
    subsoil of Rome there is well more than as the ground from Constantinople preserve. I compare the
    torment of Rome to the sacrificial lamb.

    Penso alla Domus Aurea e ai danni che crea la nuova metropolitana al patrimonio sotterraneo di Roma.
    Penso a Federico Zeri che già nel 1948 denunciava, inascoltato, "i danni dovuti agli scavi per la prima
    metropolitana degli anni '40 sotto al Colosseo e vicino al suo anello esterno. Le vibrazioni dovute al
    passaggio dei treni compromettono la stabilità del munumento".
    Penso alla colonna Traiana e alla piazza sotto Piazza Venezia (quella che tutti fanno finta di non
    conoscere). Penso al minuzioso controllo dei substrati, tramite rivelatori, che stanno adottando a
    Istanbul, prima di avviare i lavori per lo scavo della metropolitana. Penso che nel sottosuolo di Roma ci
    sia ben più di quanto il suolo di Costantinopoli conservi. Paragono lo strazio di Roma all'agnello
