Cliff and Honey Grabowski live in the fine city of Milwaukee, Wisconsin with their son Sammy. Having the combined I.Q. of a dead pig, Cliff and Honey owe their very existence to government programs like state welfare, food stamps, disability, unemployment, Medicaid, Medicare, and the veterans association (Cliff claims he’s a P.O.W in a domestic war with Honey) . Cliff and Honey spend their days watching TV, complaining, going to the pharmacy, purchasing groceries at the dollar store, and shopping for new sweatpants at the “Slightly Soiled Thrift Emporium”. Little is accomplished in their lives other than nothing.
Honey used to turn tricks for cash in the parking lot of Big Lots until one day she met Cliff. As the story goes Cliff and Honey conceived their son Sammy in the back of Cliff’s Ford Escort and the rest is history. Cliff asked Honey to marry him later that month while waiting in line at Fuddruckers. They celebrated by ordering a small French fry and then constantly refilling their one plate with the free condiments used as toppings for the burgers. They got a whole meal each that day for a mere $1.99!! Honey made a make shift salad and Cliff ate pickles and tomato slices. The management and staff watched on in amazement.
Their wedding took place at the local VFW building by a 3rd rate traffic court judge for 25 dollars. Sloppy Joes and potato chips were served and the night’s entertainment was provided by Cliff swearing at Honey and calling her a whore. Which technically was accurate.
Months later Sammy was born and Cliff and Honey’s lives were changed forever. Now in addition to doing nothing they had a child to take care of. Honey learned about how to care for an infant by watching Baby Geniuses, Look Who’s talking, and Look Who’s Talking now. Cliff learned about being a father by watching various porno films, as he wasn’t exactly sure what happened in the Ford Escort that fateful night.
A year later Sammy is now praying for his own death. The Grabowskis would soon be thrust into the national spotlight when they become known as the parents of the first infant suicide attempt.
The Grabowskis is the worlds first, only, and last internet sitcom. Started in 2007 as an experiment in creating the worlds shortest comedy episodes The Grabowskis have grown by leaps and bounds, mainly just leaps. Called "The new American Holocaust" by viewers The Grabowskis is the internets least loved sitcom. Hated by many, loved by few, and understood by even fewer The Grabowskis strives to fill the unfunny comedy void on the internet. So many videos leave viewers in stitches, laughing at the cleverness of their creators and so few videos leave viewers angry or unsatisfied. The Grabowskis attempt to fill that void with such classic episodes as "Microwave Repair" "The Poker Game" or "Mr. Learning Time".
Paul Stratton of the Milwaukee Times says, "The Grabowskis is gay"
Chandra Blackstone of the Boston Daily Review says "Watching the Adventures of Cliff and Honey makes me wonder if these people have real jobs, and I'm not talking about the characters"
Whatever the reviews or the comments maybe The Grabowskis stand alone as "something unique". There are videos of impressions, sexy internet soap operas sponsored by automobile companies, the latest Paris Hilton and Britney Spears parody videos, and the worst of all "Room Mate Comedy" videos. What's room mate comedy you ask. Well, it's self explanatory. Two room mates (usually guys) who think they are funny make videos and post them on line and thus a genera is born. Over and over again.
Alas though, The Grabowskis internet sitcom prides itself on one thing. It's universally hated by everyone.
