Hello there. I'm Star; yes that's my real name and no my parents weren't hippies. I was born in Honolulu, Hawaii,and grew up in California and pretty much lived the last 17 years of my life in Arizona. I went to Collins College in Tempe Arizona, and studied Visual Communications & Graphic Design and graduated with my BA. Other than that, I spend every hour of the day on the internet during the week and party during the weekends. I love where I work (944 Magazine) and am living my life in Scottsdale to its fullest. I'm a free lance graphic designer, photographer, Social Networker, blogger, and BON VIVANT. I love to hang out with my friends, relax my kitty, Mozart and travel when given the opportunity and time.

So what the hell is 944 you ask? 944 magazine is the leading lifestyle, fashion and entertainment media company of its kind. 944 caters to the 21-43 year old, upwardly‐mobile, successful, affluent,trendsetter with disposable income searching for options when it comes to everything particularly "the finer things in life" as we all love to call them. With 944 you are in the know 24/7 365 and with our digital platform we take magazine and trends to a whole other level. And that is 944 in a nutshell... My Job at 944 Magazine is pretty demanding; and at times I feel holds me back from meeting good quality guys bc I just can't give the attention to some of the ones whom are for lack of better words "needy" for attention...some get it, while others don't it's life. I love my job and the people I work with. Hell I'm with them most of the time. They truly have seen me at my worst (4am in the morning ona late print night) and completely smashed drunk making out with some girly who decided it was a good idea to buy me a shot. I've really had an amazing rollercoaster of a job, good, bad, and the ugly but all of which I'm appreciative of and have learn to embrace my job that much more. My passion is to find a creative way to approach the position I possess and give it an interesting twist to make it more efficient, fun and productive. Check out my to get a better understanding of my job. We have 7 locations (Phoenix, San Francisco, Orange County, Los Angeles, San Diego, Las Vegas and Miami) and constantly have events going which keeps me on my toes. I'm also starting to head the Social Networking aspect of things. The position is basically managing the online community for 944. Which includes responding to user emails in addition running 944’s presence on twitter, youtube, facebook and many other social networks. I'm pretty much super social, and was able to turn my love of community and social media into my everyday life.
