I am a french artist from Paris, FRANCE, living currently in CANADA. I have decided to create a "MYSPACE" to get the opportunity to show you some part of my Artwork, but above all, to share with you the creation progress of my own comic, entitled "Billy WATSON and the improbable resurrection" (temporary title).
My comic's plot could be summarized that way : Billy WATSON is a 16-year-old orphaned who lives in London (ENGLAND) with his Grandmother. 4 months ago, his girlfriend, Keira EL-SHEIKH, lost her mother during a terrorist attack in Egypt and since this day, the young girl is completely down. Unfortunately, what Billy was afraid of happened; Keira tries to kill herself, unable to carry on living without her mother. Desperate, Billy asks help to Peter and Jennifer, his closer friends, and all together, they finally decide to propose to Keira to bring her mother back from death, whatever it will take.
I am currently making the first drawing-boards and very soon, exclusively right here, you will be able to find out the beginning of the amazing adventures of Billy WATSON and his friends, following them step by step in live!
As far as I remember, I have always used to draw, working very hard all along years, especially because I am an autodidact, then I had to learn everything by myself. I have always been very rigorous with my artwork, calling it into question every day, and I am still acting that way because I know it is the best path to improve, again and again.
If you ask me what kind of comics I used to read when I was a little girl then I will answer you mangas (japaneses comics). About cartoons, it was the same, all were japaneses then it will seem you logical if I tell you that all my Art Masters are of course japaneses.
The most important one to me, who made my art style change in a very different way is Katsuhiro OTOMO. (AKIRA's author). The mangaka OTOMO made me become very perfectionnist, my art style became much more detailed that it was, also more agressive and apocalyptic. I stopped to put my drawings in color, working in black and white only and I made my own comics as movies. Almost at the same time, I found out an autodidact mangaka, Masamune SHIROW (APPLE SEED, GHOST IN THE SHELL). Because his art style was very close to OTOMO, then he inspired me in a very similar way.
Yukito KISHIRO brought the violence into my art, I mean, in a higher level. The manga "GUNNM" also changed the way I used to write my scripts and my characters became more ambiguous, not good, not bad but both.
Riyochi IKEGAMI was the second one who had an important impact into my art style. I found him out through his manga "CRYING FREEMAN". This one was on one hand very violent, full of murder and sex scenes, but on the other hand, the hero cried after killing and felt in love with a woman he had to take her life away, then after all, the story was romantic in a way and the IKEGAMIS's style was so impressive. It permitted me to improve once again my level.
Of course, a lot of others mangakas had and still inspiring me, Rumiko TAKAHASHI for her humor, also japaneses animes : Cyber City OEDO 808, Venus War, Armitage, some video games : Street fighters, Jak 3, Devil May Cry, FF X, and more recently the manga GANTZ by OKU.

Who I'd like to meet: "Milk & Honey" is a German pop music duo consisting of singers Anne ROSS (the blond one) and Manel FILALI (the brunette one). German music producer Uwe Fahrenkrog-Petersen formed the duo under the Warner Music Group label in 2006. The main idea is to make occident meet orient through music, a wonderful mixt of different cultures and traditions spreading that way a very positive message to the world.
