During just a short period of time, Graceland Gospel has gained a massive reputation
from audiences and venues in Norway. The band stand out from the crowd with their
enormous scene-act, and dazzle their listeners – both on an off stage, with absolutely
incredible and wild stunts.
With today’s line up, the band has existed for about two years, of which they have had an
exeptional progression; from an early victory in a local pop&rock competition – to very
frequent concerts all over the western Norway.
Fronted by vocalist and text writer Runar Gundersen, Graceland Gospel adds a notch to
the norwegian rock-scene. With catchy melodies and bonegrinding riffs in beautiful
harmony the band has a lot to offer a wide audience. Along with Anders Helliesen(bass),
Espen Haugland(drums), Stian Thunder(organs and vocals), and Ola Rossehaug(guitar),
the band is complete. Step by step, the five members are pushing towards the top, and
this fall the ”Graceland Gospel EP” saw the light of day.
With ”Graceland Gospel EP”, the band wants to reach out to new fans, as well as
showing record-companies and distributors that they exist. The EP shows a big reportoir,
and has ”up-and-coming” written all over it.
Having played frequently in venues as Hulen in Bergen and Rockfest Haugesund, no
mistake can be made: the band are most definetly up and coming, and wishes to establish
themselves as one of Norways finest live-acts.
The world haven’t seen the last of Graceland Gospel, they’ve just begun...
