Grace Petrie is a solo singer/songwrter from the Midlands. She has been playing the guitar and writing songs for seven years, but has only been playing in public since 2006. Since then her unique brand of acoustic indie rock has won her a solid fan base in Leicester and support slots on the same stage as the likes of Mark Morriss (The Bluetones) and Frank Turner (Million Dead). Her haunting lyrics are at the centre of her songs and have invoked comparisons to such legends as Billy Bragg and Alanis Morrisette.
