"Of course I'm biased, but Grace is really, really good --and I hate that. Because as her dad, I'd much prefer that she got a real job . . ."
-Pierce Pettis
"Grace Pettis is definitely an artist to keep an eye and an ear on. She's taking on big ideas, and hewing them into well-crafted lyrics. There are graceful turns of phrase which sometimes remind me that she grew up under a roof that sheltered more than one great writer, but her voice is her own, as a writer as well as a singer."
-David LaMott
"There is a wisdom in Grace's observations about life that makes her music go right to the heart. She sings and shares so honestly that it is inevitable listeners will hear themselves in her songs."
-Jill Phillips
"Grace Pettis is wholeheartedly dedicated to using her myriad talents to heal, and to bridge the distance between that sacred and the every day, making every song a prayer and making every moment holy."
-Joe Jencks
"Grace Pettis is as promising an artist as I've heard in a long time. She's got the heart, art, soul and looks to touch a lot of people with her music."
-Tom Kimmel
Mountain Stage NewSong Winner and "Best Song" Winner, 2009
wow grace! You are so beautiful! I am really proud of you! Your music is amazing! I miss seeing you though! I hope life is going well! ~Your Russian friend Oksana~
Grace, I LOVE! the new album. I plan on spreading your sound around Yellowstone as much as I possibly can. Linnon will be excited to hear it when I see him. I know he has been anticipating this day for a while now. Congratulations and I can't wait to see what you come out with next.
hi grace i know you have been so with school and work i miss talking to you and you are a true best friend for me and i enjoy being a special friend for you grace and take care love Esperanza
hey grace, Thanks for the add, and thanks for adding "nine to five girl" to your playlist. I love that song; dug it when I heard it the first time and dig it even more now...great insight you've got.
Grace, Just wanted to stop by and say "Chris" from Adventures in Odyssey loves your music and so do I. I'm Chris' husband, secretary, and the old toad who occasional croaks a tune outside her window.
So sorry to hear about the trouble with your album release; you've got to be extremely disappointed. On the bright side, it is something that must be fix-able. You know about God's timing vs. ours, I'm sure. You have some strong references in Tom Kimmel & Jill Phillips!
Grace, thanks for the add! -- it's always nice to discover new music here, but only rarely am I truly moved, as I was listening to your songs. You have something to say, & you say it in a compelling way... "Deep Sleep" in particular, stunning, and the melody perfectly married to the lyrics... I have a question on that song, I'll send a message. In any case, I look forward to hearing more about your upcoming album... hope you enjoy my songs as well, best, Sue
