Dear Readers, Beautiful and Special People,

On a beautiful late spring day on the bank of a seasonal creek in the heart of Texas, Rhonda Grace began writing in the year 2005. Even with minor difficulties from Dyslexia, she began creative writing, mostly in the form of poetry. Rhonda found this to be therapeutic at first, and then she saw how writing gave her a voice. Writing herself through the end of a turbulent, verbally abusive marriage, she found solos in the simple pen and computer keyboard. She broke free to start a new life, a life where she became her own person and learned how to be truly whole again.

Rhonda Grace is strong minded, creative, edgy, and generally assertive. She has a maverick mentality, speaks her mind blazes her own trails and celebrates being an individual. She won’t back down from her convictions and won’t compromise her thoughts in order to agree with other’s beliefs and opinions. Rhonda has a great deal of inner strength and has a good work ethic. She’s fun, wild and full of gumption. She loves to have a good time; she’s spontaneous, craves variety and seeks adventure. Rhonda is social and considered to be a “people magnet.” She is admired and respected by others. She looks out for the underdog and if she’s your friend, she’s got your back. Rhonda has a soft tender side; she’s a romantic soul and a sensuous woman.

Her writing has become a passion that flows in a magical way. She believes poetry to be organic. There is a process by which all writers pass; a development of skill and technique coupled with raw, uncanny truth. The art of writing is subjective. A written work of art needs to be well written, say something of value, drawing the reader in, and have an element of organic truth. Poetry needs to be alive, not lying there like a corps. The essence of poetry is to enlighten not merely inform and explain, but to tap the depths of the reader with full bodied meaning.

She is currently working on her New Book,
a collection of poetry, working Title: “The Joy of Life.”
She is carefully selecting quality pieces for this fine book.

Rhonda thanks all who have supported her writing efforts and the beginning of a new era and beyond. She thanks all of you beautiful people for your continued support. She is dedicated in continuing to produce works of excellence.

“Use your eyes as if tomorrow you would be stricken blind. … Hear the music of voices, the song of the bird, the mighty strains of an orchestra, as if you would be stricken deaf tomorrow. Touch each object as if tomorrow your tactile sense would fail. Smell the perfume of the flowers, taste with relish each morsel, as if tomorrow you could never smell and taste again. Make the most of every sense; glory in all the facets of pleasure and beauty which the world reveals to you.”

It was a long way from
    New York to British Columbia
    Then it would be even
    further if you stopped in
    North Carolina along the way

Or should that be the case
    in visiting Ontario in
    Southern California instead
    Prior to your departure from
    Los Angeles to Winnipeg

    Where in Manitoba
North Dakota was closer to Regina
if Saskatchewan was on your way
    Because then at least
    your place was in Canada
    To be in Vancouver
    Washington some day

Happy, Friday!  It's really cool here in L.A. but I'm loving it especially when I'm dressed appropriately.  I work at the beautiful Theater here with the most gorgeous plaza.  It's perfectly lit with an amazing tree near the ever flowing, vibrant fountains.  It's especially pretty at night. Enjoy your day, my friend

Let's Sing out for the Beauty Let's Sing out for the Peace
Let's Sing out with the Pride from within
Let's Sing out for all Nations Let's Sing out for everyone
Let's sing out for the Dream to come to Light Let's sing out with Love Tonight

Hold on to the Promise Hold on to the Dream
Do not let your Spirit be tied
Hold on to the Promise hold on to the Delight
That all Nations can walk tall Proud and Strong
And Let the Light of Freedom Shine on

Walk through the Land with Power and Pride
Walk tall like our Fathers once done
Let no one chain our spirits as we Dance neath the Moon and the Sun

Let's sing out for our Freedom Let's Sing out for our Pride
All Nations now and Forever Walk Tall with Peace and Unite
Let's Keep the Dream for Freedom Alive
