The Gracie Barra School in Irvine California is well known in the Orange County Martial Arts community for its commitment to teaching high level Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Our black belt instructors Marcio Feitosa, Andre Fernandes, Flavio Almeida, Marco Joca, andKayron Gracie have trained under legendary Master Carlos Gracie Jr., at the original Gracie Barra Academy, located in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Under Master Carlos' tutelage, they have had extensive knowledge of the "gentle art" as it was formed on the same mats as the best BJJ instructors and fighters ever known. Now they are based in Orange County teaching Monday through Sunday at the Gracie Barra academy in Irvine California.

We are also very fortunate to have Master Carlos Gracie Jr. himself training and teaching at our school. Master Carlos spends half of his year here training himself and teaching us, and our students have a unique opportunity to learn directly from a teacher who has molded and formed many of the greatest athletes and instructors in our sport. Additionally, we are also fortunate enough to have some of the greatest athletes involved in the sport visit us and share their knowledge with us.
