I miss my Grace-Face. I miss missing your birthday because for some reason I could never get it right. I was always the day before, or the day after. It's weird. I never get the date confused now. Hey Gracie...thought about you alot over the holidays. I found myself yearning just to see someone with a real, genuine smile and thought of you. I miss you very much and wish I had your laugh recorded so I could use it to cheer me up.
I had to go through your closet just now for some needed items. I was angry when asked to get the stuff out. Its a door thats easier to keep closed for now. Your scent is gone from the bins, and they have been completely sealed. Which made me cry. I read a bunch of your stuff. It was comforting to see your handwriting again. Your rugged army backpack reminded me of all the trips. I looked through all your old photography. I think I am going to enlarge some of my favorites in black and white and frame them for my hallway. I promise to get busy. This year is going to be my year of kick. I am driven to get it back. Happy New year to all.
