Over the last few years I have been very impressed by the number of CCM artists who turn out quality product on what must be a small budget, small compared to the mega-buck projects of the big labels. Singer, songwriter and worship leader from Wisconsin Rosanna Fiorazo is a case in point. Of the 11 songs on this CD, she wrote 10 of them, the odd man out being the Rich Mullins and Mitch McVicker-penned classic from 'The Jesus Record', "My Deliverer". Mitch himself adds his own voice to a reading that is nothing like the kiddie chorus and anthemic orchestral arrangement of the original. Rosanna's style is good, straightforward pop, her voice is clear and accurate with a good range, and her songs are direct, challenging and unambiguous - there's no doubt where she's coming from. Mix in accomplished musicians and singers, and here we have a very good quality indie release that is worth investigating. * * * * * * *

QUICK UPDATE: Recently another one of my songs (Hallelujah) was selected to be on a compilation CD called, "Higher Sounds" - Beautiful Faith. Before this, my song "Lullaby" was selected to be on a UK compilation called "Following Fire" - with artists like Matt Redman, Delirious, Phil Joel and others. Finally, my song "Only One God" (that won me a Los Angeles music award) was chosen to be on an Independent Artist CD. But the song of mine that has received the most radio air play is "He's Exalted". ANYWAY, I started Cosmetology school last year and I love learning to cut hair, along with other beauty secrets. (insert time management needs here) I'm still able to tour ..ed weekends, SO if you're interested in having me play in your church/city, I most always travel with a small band - let me know if you'd like more information. We're open to doing 3 & 4 day tours. Well, as for this space, I do NOT have fans or a fan page! I DO have friends, and if you'd like, I really do enjoy keeping in touch with those few who are really interested. Honestly, I'm NOT on here for the numbers. Also, Dove Award winner, Mitch McVicker sings with me on a remake of Rich Mullins' song "My Deliverer". Mixed in Los Angeles by Grammy Award winner Jim Watts, along with Jeffrey David, my new album features strong guitars, crisp vocals, and songs that are easy to sing along to, ultimately drawing you closer to the Lord Jesus Christ. : : : : : : : : GRACIE NOTE MUSIC is an Independent Christian Music Label, simply my 'Doing Business As' name. This is why Sista Gurl do what we do, we are not afraid to talk about molestation. The staff of Sista Gurl was out spending the word of awareness about molestation. When some people hear what we have to say, they claim up, they didn’t want to hear anymore and walk away. Neatness to say most of those people who walk away have children somewhere nearby. There was one person who touched my heart that day. After a mother walked away from our booth a little girl I believed to be the woman’s daughter. She have to be somewhere around the age of 9 to 11. She stopped and asked me “what does molestation means?’ I give her a quick answer where I hope she understood where I was coming from. I replied “molestation mean when someone touch you where it make you feel uncomfortable “.The little girl gave such a disgusting look. We was blown away that she never hear of the word molestation or she didn’t know what it meant. I say all of this to say, parents please take time to talk to your babies about this topic, MOLESTATION. Those talks may save your children’s life.
