Some will say that Graeme Connors is Australia's finest country music singer, songwriter and performer, and let's face it... it's hard to argue with that!
From touring with the likes of Kris Kristofferson in the mid-70's to his current success after releasing 13 memorable albums
Graeme Connors's music career has been nothing less than spectacular.



 Winner of 12 Golden Guitar awards and favoured by musicians such as Slim Dusty and Kris Kristofferson,
Graeme sure has concreted his name in the country music scene, not only Australia, but idolized by American country artists as well.

With his platinum release of North in 1988 and the very popular single "A Little Further North",
Graeme shortly became a household name. North was then followed by South of these Days and Tropicali, which were both defining albums in Graeme's career.

In 1992, Graeme worked with high profile musicians in Nashville, which led to the release of the 1993 album The Return.
A string of Golden Guitar awards followed in 1995, for his 5th release, Homeland including Album of the Year, Song of the Year and Male Vocalist.
1995 saw the release of The Here and Now, The Road Less Travelled in 1996, Graeme's family and Christmas themed album- One of the Family in 1997,
and A Delicate Balance in 1999. The Here and Now earned Graeme another four Golden Guitars; Song of the Year, Voice Collaboration of the Year, Video Track of the Year.



 The 2000 Paralympics opening and closing ceremonies  enabled Graeme to showcase his finest work, with his theme song "Being Here".
He co-wrote "Good Things in Life" with Adam Brand, which earnt him his 11th Golden Guitar.
Soon after came the Graeme Connors "best of" album,  The Best ... Til Now, which featured a remarkable selection of Graeme's favourites and biggest hits.

2004 saw Graeme receive yet another Golden Guitar for his video "The Simple Truth' which earnt him Video Track of the Year. The song being from Graeme's 2002 release;
This Is Life.

Next in line for Graeme's releases were two DVD's, the first- an unplugged 'up close' concert, respectively named "Up Close" released in 2003, followed by a second DVD
titled "So Far... and a Little Further", which showcased many of Graeme's video clips, filmed over his extensive career.



Another visit to Nashville in 2004, saw the release of The Moment. A re-mixed and re-mastered album of personal favourites,
featuring 4 new songs, "Its All Good... " was then released in 2006.
Graeme has recently worked on projects that involved combining his talents with The Fiddlers Feast, to produce the 2007 album "The Last Supperteers"

With a music history as extensive as Graeme's, who knows what the future holds for his remarkable music career.

 ? 20th Anniversary North Album ?
 
 

In 1988, Australia's country music scene was uplifted with the
release of a new country artist's album 'North'. That artist was
Graeme Connors. With popular hits such as "A Little Further
North", "Let The Canefields Burn", "Cyclone Season" and the
well known story of "Sicilian Born", North became not only Gold,
but platinum.

So here we are, 20 years on from the first official Graeme Connors
release. Will there be any surprises? Any release to celebrate this
milestone in his career? Only time will tell!
