My name is Graeme Steel, Im a freelance producer/sound engineer based in Edinburgh, Scotland. I have been active in the Edinburgh music scene for the last three years. My live sound credits include The Left Bank - Head Engineer 2005-2006(until its closing), Broadcast Engineer at The Bongo Club for Nexus Live. I have also worked in most of Edinburghs live music venues at one point or another usually at the request of individual artists/bands as. I also work closely with "dirty northern music" a promotions company/label who are set for big things in the future(check out the myspace) I have also worked as front of house engineer for various festivals, one of which being the wickerman festival (last year and this year). I have just returned from Nigeria where i was working with US artists Kanye West and T Pain. Some of the artists i have worked with this year include Ocean Colour Scene, Nicola Benedette, Kanye West, T Pain, Colin Hay (men at work), the Wickerman festival, the aliens and Ardent John
- Recently i have started a business recording live events/gigs. To carry this out i have purchased a 24 track mobile digital recorder which enables me to multi-track events and mix later in the studio. Often when im in the studio recording a band im really just trying to capture the performance and energy of the live show, recording this way provides a top quality recording and at less expense to the artrist. Artists i am currently working with in live recording are- The Aliens, Alfonzo, Prose, Ed Hammell (New York), Ardent John and The Wickerman Festival amongst others.
All songs on this site are examples of my work. If you are interested in hiring me as a live sound engineer or producer or are interested in live event multi-tracking, please get in touch through myspace or email me at graemesteel01@hotmail.com.

Alrite kid glad you have hit the electronic highway, and your picture is probably the only living footage of producer porn. There you go inventing another new genre.
