Sounds too good to be true, but that's exactly the job I've had the great fortune to hold for the better part of 35 years. In that time I have enjoyed the company of people from nearly every continent, stood in awe of natural and man made wonders, and seen a million miles of asphalt fold under the front bumper of a tour coach, leaving an equal number of memories behind to be cherished and relived forever. Few have been so blessed!
News of my leaving full time road life traveled fast. Over the course of the last few months I have received hundreds of calls and Email wondering what I would doing. Word out... I'm not leaving the road, I'm just changing lanes. I could never remove myself from the music I love, and the people who enjoy it as much as I do. Together we've laughed, rejoiced at the birth of new children and grandchildren, and cried over the loss of loved ones.
But, life lived to the top, to me at least, means exploring new opportunities... having the guts and gumption to jump off the interstate and travel the dirt roads. While nearly everyone of my musical peers has infinitely more talent, one would be hard pressed to find anyone, anywhere, with any more unbridled enthusiasm than me. So too will it be with the Graham Talent Group... full speed ahead!
While I won't be seeing you quite as much, I can't imagine life without you. I want us to stay in touch and I can't think of any better way to do it. I want my MySpace page to be a place we can visit just like we always have, under the trees and stars, or around a campfire at any number of shows. Lets share a few stories and have a few laughs. The first one's one me... check out the pictures in my "Scrapbook." I'll be sifting through the archives, so check back, we'll be adding more all the time.
Hi there! Thanks so much for the add. It's a pleasure to be your friend! We hope that you'll come join us at www. grasslife. com - We'd love to see you there!
Hey, Randy: We met at the Southern Ohio Indoor Bluegrass Festival last March. We just stood around talking and picking for the better part of the day. I had a hard time getting my Grey Eagle mandolin from your hands! Haha, good times. Hope to see you out on the road somewhere. God bless, Jonathan Estep
