I'm a PROFESSIONAL DRUMMER offering DRUM LESSONS from my home teaching studio in GLOUCESTER with all the expertise, experience and equipment to provide TOP QUALITY TUITION. I've been PLAYING 18 YEARS and have 12 YEARS TEACHING EXPERIENCE. I began teaching in Gloucestershire's largest drum dealership "Soundhouse" in their Cheltenham shop. From there I progressed to working in Glos county secondary schools teaching upto 75 pupils in 7 schools a week! I now give private, one to one lessons. I play in the UK'S NO.1, and busiest LED ZEPPELIN TRIBUTE band "WHOLE LOTTA LED". Since 1999 I've done 900 gigs with the band all over the UK AND IRELAND in some of the best venues around including the ASTORIA, London and the O2 (formerly Carling) ACADEMIES (London, Glasgow, Liverpool, Birmingham, Manchester, Sheffield, Oxford). Since I got my first kit in 1991 I've been taught by the best in the business. I began having lessons with the amazing drum teacher, and now close friend, SHANE YOUNG. From there I progressed to DRUMTECH in London where I took lessons from the founder and director FRANCIS SERIAU, and acclaimed drummers and teachers PAUL ELLIOT, now of the Academy of Music and Sound, and GARY O'TOOLE. In 1998 I spent a week on an intensive course with one of the UK's top session drummers STEVE WASHINGTON. I'm currently studying with the UK's best drummer STEVE WHITE (Paul Weller/Trio Valore Inc/Oasis/Ocean Colour Scene).

IF YOU'RE SERIOUS ABOUT LEARNING THE DRUMS FEEL FREE TO GET IN CONTACT ANYTIME FOR MORE INFORMATION AND AVAILABILITY. You can either send me a myspace message or email twist77@talktalk.net. Lessons cost £25 per hour. Lessons cover all aspects of drumming from the most basic grips and rudiments to advanced hand and foot techniques and independence exercises. Full play-along facilities in the teaching studio allow you to learn and perform your favourite songs. Reading and writing drum music is also covered. Grade exams are available as required.
