About me:
Grail Quest Books is a publisher and producer of original comic books focusing on sweeping stories within epic fantasy or historical settings.
Kasandra lived the first eighteen years of her life in Vixhausen, a town outside Darmstadt, Germany. She spent most of it traveling all over Europe dreaming up worlds and characters that became part of a vast stellar realm she called "Im Schatten der Sterne"--The Realm in the Shadow of the Stars. She moved to the United States in 2000, determined to see her unique universe published in any manner--comics, books, or film--that could be shared by others.
Josh has worked as the Star Wars CCG Content Manager at TheForce.Net, contributed regularly to SCRYE Gaming Magazine, and has acquired two prestigous writing credits for both of Lucasfilm's official Star Wars fan magazines: Star Wars Insider and Star Wars Gamer. As a recently-agented screenwriter he is eagerly awaiting his first film credit as well.
Josh is also a veteran of card gaming since 1995, starting as an avid player of Decipher's Star Wars collectible card game, he eventually moved on to tournament directing and becoming one of Decipher's important volunteer "product champions". As "Red 84", he represented the Star Wars CCG gaming communities in Connecticut and New England. His creative marketing and promotions, along with the other "product champions" and tournament directors for Star Wars and Star Trek, helped New England become one of the top bastions of Decipher gaming in the world. Josh would also work as a ranking volunteer for Decipher's The Lord of the Rings card game, and the independent Star Wars CCG Players Committee.
With all of this creative and entertainment background, Josh and Kasandra are eager to bring their epic stories to readers, as well as produce creator-owned properties that meet their expectations of quality story-telling, exciting adventure, and memorable characters--and to do it in a way that is ground-breaking and cutting edge!
