Graine was founded in 2002, and its aim has been to write melodic, bittersweet rock music. The founding duo spent the first few years writing songs and developing their own sound and songwriting style. Once Juha (Kurouma, ex-Soulfallen) joined the fold, the band was complete .
The first real demo release was 2005’s This One Time, which was followed by Toward the Fade, in 2007.
A self-admitted guitar band, Graine’s latest material brings out the best of the trio – thus far. Recording two demos within the span of a year, the guys are clearly rolling forward and are looking to record again during the ongoing year (2008). Live shows are also in the works for the summer.
