I watch comedy / drama mostly, and childrens movies with the kids & granddaughter. :-)
Television
Right now I'm totally into Heroes. My all-time favorite shows are Golden Girls, Johnny Carson, the Deadwookd series.... OMG ... Little House, That 70's Show, Roseanne & Carol Burnett. I STRUGGLED AS A CHILD ... I remember sneaking TV at night, as a kid. I was supposed to be asleep like the rest of the family, but I'd stay up for Carol Burnett. I kept the TV volume low so I didn't get caught, but it never failed... they ALWAYS made me burst out laughing. And I always got caught. Dad would yell: "Turn that damn tv off & go to bed!!!" I'd yell: "OK!" & resume watching... & try like hell to not laugh out loud. Do you have ANY IDEA how difficult that was?
Books
For some reason, most books make me fall asleep. I also have that thing where you read something and get sidetracked (daydream) and realize you've been reading the words, but not paying attention - so you have to go back & read it again. And I've always done that. I remember my parents telling me that my teachers were 'concerned' because I was not paying attention enough in class. They called it 'daydreaming'. Parents: Don't let your children's teachers punish, or put-down your kid for daydreaming. It's a sign of creativity. Your kids can't stop it, & even if they want to, they shouldn't. It's a good thing.
Heroes
When it comes to the world of greeting card publishing, Tim Colwell of The Queen of Cards, is my hero. Not only does he write hilarious cards, he's also a truly nice guy. Nice people seem to be harder to come by these days.
My other heroes are; military service members, organ donors, people who appreciate humor, people who do random acts of kindness but don't brag about it & people who are kind to animals.

ABOUT ME
If there were only bread, water & chocolate, I'd be fine with that. I can spit 20 feet or so. I've been on TV (not for spitting). I drove across the country... 3 times (twice alone) -- flew once... don't like flying -- it'd be fine if they'd let me fly the plane, but they weren't too keen on the idea. Driving alone ... in hindsight... a pretty stupid idea. I'm an adoptee who found her birthparents. I am fat, but I feel thin. When I was thin, I felt fat. I don't have any tattoos... yet. I have several scars. I've been a foster parent for 10 yrs. I catch spiders inside and set them free outside. I have a dog & 4 cats. Animals tend to like me more than people do... well, at least they're more affectionate. Because of an incident involving my brother putting worms down my back when we were kids, I'm still freaked out by worms. I read the book How To Eat Fried Worms in the 70's. I like fishing, but I can't use worms and I won't touch fish. I'm allergic to seafood. I LOVE rowing a rowboat. I spent a decade of my life drunk. I don't remember a lot from those years My Mom has Alzheimers. I make crazy/stupid youtube videos for fun ... when I have time, under profile Barbra323121. I became GrammaBurp when my granddaughter was an infant, because I was the only one that could get her to burp after feedings. When my granddaughter started talking, she shortened "grammaburp" to "Burpy". Nowadays, the whole family calls me Burpy. I just thought you should know that it has ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with the fact that I can burp the alphabet.

Thanks for the add! Just to share with you we are going to be focusing on becoming as much organic and natural as we can. We are adjusting our ingredients and creating new recipes as we speak. We can't just stop there. We are going to be as green as possible. Even in our delivery cars. We will be using Hybrid vehicles soon..
Hi GrammaBurp I just wanted to let you know that The Mountain View has a new entertainment schedule. Thursday Nights are Industrial and Goth night. Friday Nights are Hip Hop and R and B.
