grandaddy was a band that maybe should not have been, but ended up being anyways.
They made some good records, established a solid following with fans,critics,T.V.show hosts, hotel staff,bar tenders,and roadies,among many others.
They also had a blast being grandaddy ,despite the hard work and years of uncertainty.....
but for a bunch of humane reasons and a long drawn out stint at being "on the verge of greatness"
they had to call it "quits".
