:: Grand Carousel-------------------------------------------------------------------
’A luring ode to British pop music, pointers to the Stone Roses, Libertines and more vintage attire like the Byrds and Rolling Stones. Question and answer harmonies all backed up with dynamic and grooving drum crashes. A catchy sun drenched addiction’–DECODE MAGAZINE-------------------------------------------------------
’The headline band tonight were Grand Carousel. We have to say that several people commented on their frontman and how he had an amazing star quality (but at the same time wasnt a tosser - refreshing). You know when you see a star, its like an aura that someone gives off - its an unwritten cool. This however wasnt just a one man band. The rest of the band were great, drummer playing drums with maracas! (is that a first?), solid bass and guitar showing the way. And the songs were inventive and filled with originality and style. Lets hope it happens for these guys.’ M.M - The Tube Club.

Mama Shamone http://www. myspace. com/mamashamone “Put Mama Shamone on at any venue and they are likely to take the roof off, this was one of the best live shows I’ve seen in years - certainly one of the best in London. In my opinion these guys are destined for greatness, it felt like I was witnessing history being shaped-something was just so right about what they were doing up there.” Vibe Bar
