From this month's Classic Rock Magazine:
The Grande Machine (Zero Budget)
"Glam Without Eyeliner"
Looks are important to Glam Rockers. Listening to the Grande Machine's nosebleed-level maximum energy glam slam, you might expect them to look like an explosion in a leopard-print fabric factory that has been doused with mascara. Amazingly, the pictures make them look like four guys from your IT department playing at a wedding, which, in a way, is far more intriguing than if they'd just come straight from Motley Crue school. A lot of the initial reviews have little variation on "Slade meet the New York Dolls...." and we're going to go with the flow here and sing along with that particular chorus. Songs like "Wild in the Street" and "All the Love" are timeless glam nuggets that would have done everyone from The Stooges in 73 or The Dictators in 77, or The Wildhearts in 91 or The Hellacopters yesterday proud. One listen to this and you know that one day this band will play the best gig you'll ever see.
Like the New York Dolls, The Stooges, and MC5 meet Slade and Kiss, this is high energy with real songs - in a perfect world, this is the music for arenas. These are 12 songs that will have you pump your fist in the air.
The Dictators once asked who will save rock and roll? Being described by fans as "a band that has captured the 70's punk sound with a rare quality that is not to be found anywhere except the vinyl section of your local second hand record store." coupled with energetic live shows that leave fans feeling like they were "F***ed rock'n'roll", The Grande Machine may very well answer that call.
If you're around on Thursday, December 10th, we are playing a FREE show at Mario's Keller Bar. I don't know if you've been there, but it's a very cool place. It's a comfortable space, the room sounds great and they have a stellar beer selection.
Also, we will be playing ALL NIGHT! We'll play some funky, bluesy, and soulful music. We'll project live video onto a 9 ft screen. We'll play some older material that hasn't been heard in awhile, as well as some brand new songs that've never been heard. All bets are off!! We'd love it if you'd come down and listen/party with us!
The next step in our Sonic Transformations series is only a few weeks away. Mario's Keller Bar is an excellent venue, with some fantastic German beers. For this show, we will be playing quite a bit of funky, bluesy and soulful music. We will also have live video. It will be an adventure! We'd love it if you'd come down, listen and party with us :)

I just wanted to stop by to say hello and give you a little update on what Blood Root Mother is up to! We will be recording an EP of new music in August, and we recently finished recording a live DVD. The DVD is currently unreleased and I actually just saw it for the first time a few days ago. It features the last two performances with Tony Ellis still alive, and some footage from the tribute show we played on the night of his funeral.
There are some cool covers, as well as some NEW music that will be on our upcoming EP. We're very excited about the new music and we'd like to share a sneak peak with you. Here's a video of a new tune called Run Bobby Run:
