Phoenix Picks reps Grandiose!

Everyone should be so fortunate to have a mentor, and ours has always been
our older sister. From what books to read to our childhood attempts to get our
bangs as high as hers, she has always been our own personal “Go-To” guide for
being cool.
Just like our way cooler big sis, the proprietors of the spanky new
street-style boutique Grandiose are ready to take the AZ hip-hop scene under
their wing. The hip kids who run the joint are transplants from established
scenes like Chicago, L.A., and San Diego and are ready to show Phoenix how their
big bad cities roll hip-hop culture.
You can get in their groove with a wide assortment of new and used vinyl,
from hip-hop and R&B to metal and punk to random gems like “The Goonies”
soundtrack. And while you’re body rockin’ to their beats, you’ll want to sample
some of their street-inspired wares—check out clothing from Free Gold Watch and
Mishka, plus local art, and even vintage copies of Waxpoetic magazine. It’s
big!
