Tales of Woe, stories of passion and everything we've ever listened to before. Alcohol, nasty boys and girls, retarded fashion, the limits of our musical capabilities. Newtown, Glasgow, London, Kingston, Truth or Consequences, Barr Point, Byron Bay....
Sounds Like
Mouldy Peaches, Regina Spektor, Scout Nibblett, PJ Harvey, TV on the Radio, cocorosie, Jimmy Buffet, Tammy Wynett, Dsico. Guitary folk nonsense with rude lyrics.
G3M were formed as a result of alcohol and tales of others' misfortune. After a questionable beginning, songs began to emerge from the tragedies that are modern life and love. Founding members, from both the UK and Australia, found themselves drowning their sorrows together in an Inner West pub in Sydney.
They were Hannah Boyd, the Pun Generator and band instigator, who once played bass howver due to having little musical talent has moved to keyboard with the occasional guitar/vocal moment, Mhairi McClymont, an exile from the Glasgow indie scene and weather, who plays guitar and sings. Tara Mathey, currently on a modern day love song research expedition, plays drums like it's nobody's business. Michaela Davies has defected from Dsico's live experience to play bass rather excellently. Adam Hulbert, fuzziologist and island dweller, plays triumphant trumpet.

Hey girls! And the boys, I don't know you. Imagine my surprise to see Jenni and Hannah in a band with Tara and some other people. I had no clue you were inclined to be musical. It sounds, from your profile, like you didn't either. But it sounds good despite that! Can't wait to hear s'more. Hope you guys are good. XXX
