We all have myths about what’s good for us to eat and what’s bad. See if you have this myth: Margarine is better for you than real butter.
What’s the truth? Is margarine or butter healthier for you? Both substances contain the same amount of fat. The only real difference is the kind of fat they contain. Right! Margarine contains plasticky fat. The amount of Trans Fats from partially hydrogenated oil must now be listed on all foods. Unfortunately, when the FDA made this law, fully hydrogenated oils weren’t popular. Thus, many of your junk foods may list zero grams of trans fat, but in their ingredient list you will see fully hydrogenated oil. If partially is bad for you, how can fully be any better?

After my mothers death, 5/03/09 I felt like she was with me guiding me threw the chaos of her home. Later I found out why! Read the posts from the beginning. It all started when she was in her coma, My Sunflower balloon got plucked from my string! Then Major Crows and Sunflower Messages, and Some more weird stuff happened to me. WASHINGTON, June 27 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Unclassified statements
from 59-year-old father-of-four Saifullah Paracha, currently being detained
at Guantanamo Bay, reveal that his health has seriously deteriorated and
could lead to his premature death if his pre-existing heart, prostatic and
diabetic disease are not treated urgently.
Saifullah, a Pakistani national and US green card holder, was kidnapped
on July 5, 2003 whilst en route to Bangkok on business. He has since
suffered three heart attacks, one of which occurred during interrogation -
two in Bagram Airbase and one in Guantanamo Bay.
His lawyer Gaillard T Hunt suggests his medical treatment is at best
incompetent and at worst negligent.
"Several of Paracha's brothers and sisters have died of cardiac
problems before reaching 65. Paracha is nearly 60, so the problem is not
one to be ignored. Paracha has been having fainting spells, so we know the
problem is worsening. He couldn't submit to a cardiac catheterization at
Guantanamo because the rules require all prisoners in the hospital to be
shackled to the four corners of the bed. The cardiologist said this was
dangerous for a heart patient, but the prison administration would not
compromise. The statements filed in court to assure us that Paracha is
getting proper treatment are not signed by the doctors. We have to assume
the doctors are as disturbed by the situation as we are. The doctors told
Paracha that they were acting as military men first, as doctors second.
Paracha is not the worst case. There are people at GTMO literally dying
from lack of treatment."
Since the declaration of the "war on terror" post-9/11, various sources
have reported the active participation of US military health and medical
professionals in a variety of serious offences in the prison of Abu Ghraib
in Iraq and Guantanamo Bay in Cuba.
Family and former detainees are deeply concerned over the health of
Saifullah and demand that he be given immediate emergency medical attention
that could very well save his life.
Saifullah Paracha's wife Farhat said, "About my husband's health, if
anything goes wrong the entire responsibility is the American
Government's."
Zahra Paracha, Saifullah's daughter, said: "I always had a very strong
gut feeling that one day, my whole family will come together and we'll be
like any other normal family. Now I keep feeling, 'what if he meets God
before us?' I think I have as much of a right as any American kid to meet
my parent."
Former detainee Moazzam Begg, spokesman of CagePrisoners, states:
"Although it is asserted by the US military in Guantanamo that prisoners
often receive 'better medical treatment than they would at home' it is
evident through cases such as Mr. Paracha's that health matters are
attached to certain prerequisites. Often, as was the case during my time in
US custody, prisoners' level of medical treatment would be dependant upon
their level of cooperation with interrogators. Simply put, failure to
comply could mean failure to receive treatment."

I got my mother a bright yellow coat after her accident so she wouldn't get hit again. At the time of her accident Michael Neill was also still living with her hes the one who let her out at night in a black Coat with a Feathered hood. Oil Pumps: The Heart of the Engine

The oil pump is literally the heart of an engine’s lubrication system. It sucks oil in from the crankcase and pushes it through the filter and oil galleries to the crankshaft and camshaft bearings. A constant supply of oil is needed to support and cool the bearings. If for any reason the pump cannot keep the oil circulating it’s the end of the road for the engine.
An oil pump failure is just as bad as cardiac arrest because the results are almost always fatal. Loss of oil pressure means loss of the protective oil film between the bearings and their journals. With no oil to keep the surfaces apart, the bearings wipe and fail.
A worn oil pump can’t deliver the same volume of oil as a pump with normal clearances. With less flow, there’s less oil pressure, less oil to maintain the oil film in the bearings and less cooling for the bearings. Under heavy load or at idle, there may not be enough oil flow to keep the bearings adequately lubed. The result is wiped bearings and engine failure.
Nothing Lasts Forever
A brand new oil pump is engineered to last the life of the engine, which on late model cars and light trucks is typically 150,000 miles or more. But like any other mechanical component the pump is subject to wear. In fact, the oil pump experiences more wear than most other engine parts because it is the only internal engine component that runs on unfiltered oil.
Think about it. The filter protects the bearings and other internal engine parts by trapping wear particles and debris that end up in the crankcase. But the filter provides no protection whatsoever for the pump because the filter is located after the pump. The oil pump just sucks up whatever is in the crankcase and pushes it along to the filter. The only protection for the pump is a screen at the end of the pickup tube. The screen can stop big chunks of debris but little else. Some pickups even have slits that allow cold oil to bypass the screen when the engine is first started, so if there’s any junk in the oil it will be sucked right into the pump.
Pump failure can occur if anything large enough to jam the gears or rotors enters the pump. This includes metallic debris from bearings or castings, gasket or seal debris, shot peening remnants, glass beads from bead blasting, or anything else that doesn’t belong in the crankcase. With twin-gear pumps, a foreign object that enters the pump can lodge between the close-fitting gears or the gears and housing causing the pump to lock up. Once the gears stop turning, something has to give. Usually the pump shaft twists or shears off. Sometimes a pump seizure tears up the teeth on the camshaft or distributor drive gears depending on how the pump is driven. With front mounted rotor style pumps, debris usually won’t lock up the pump because it is driven directly off the crankshaft, but it can damage or destroy the rotors.
Even if a pump doesn’t fail, it loses efficiency as it wears. Over time, the effects of pumping unfiltered oil takes a toll. Scratches and wear in the gears and pump housing increase clearances and reduce pumping efficiency. The result is a gradual loss of oil flow and oil pressure.
