   About Grandmaster Gareth
My name is Grandmaster Gareth. I write minute melodies. I also sing and write in Misty's Big Adventure. I have made two solo albums. 'An Introduction to Minute Melodies' in 2003 and 'The Party Sounds of Grandmaster Gareth' in 2006. I like custard, He Man and currently Rice Krispies. I also like monkeys, stone circles and space. I don't understand why people spend money on ringtones. I took early retirement at 21. I wish Wombles were real. I would break my leg for money. I wish there was no money to be made out of music so all the people who make music to make money would give up. And become advertising salesmen or something suitably awful. But at least we wouldn't have to be subjected to their awful music. I used to be addicted to pink doughnuts. This is enough information for now. Thank you for your time and patience.

Hello,

I'm sure you will have seen this before, but here's a link to a wonderful 1979 film made to promote Birmingham, narrated by Telly Savalas of Kojak fame. I thought if you haven't seen it already you'd love it. It's genius.

Nice to get to message you in the person Mr Grandmaster Gareth Sir, i first learned of your existence in 2004, whence you were supporting the Zutons,as an impressionable 14 year old i was mesmerised, gloves on a dancing thing, wacky lyrics, something completely weird but weird in the greatest way imaginable. 3 years on, that impression you had on me is still just as strong, i love Misty's Big Adventure and your solo work is pretty nifty too, well fantasticly nifty.

So ultimately what i want to say is thanks.

Keep up the good work man.

Apr 25 2007 2:54 AM

Well blow me down! I just can't get enough of this myspace. So many new friends to make!

I thought I could spread a bit of happiness and give you some cheer, Gareth.

You must be quite a lazy person if you only make songs that last one minute and Mr. Baked Beans knows only too well that laziness won't get you anywhere in life!

I think I can help with some tips to boost your energy. After all, I am a can of beans - we're known for our energy!

So if you find yourself lacking that certain something then give me a shout.

Plus, I'm learning to play the bongos soon, so maybe I can appear in one of your songs. With my help we can increase the playing time at least two-fold.

Anyway, lots of luck with it all and remember to be happy!

Mr. Baked Beans xx

I had a rare and adverse reaction to listening to Grandmaster Gareth. Now my ears bleed when the radio comes on and playlists make my eyes fall out. Does this happen to many people? Also, where I can I obtain more GG to play to my G's inda inda hood, like? PS I like itchy comments. They brighten up my bleedy existance.:)x
