Hello Grand Theatre! Thank you for agreeing to be friends with the Westmont Theatre. The Westmont Theatre is the last vaudeville era standing theatre in Camden County, New Jersey. It is currently under a trio of potential redevelopment proposals. The entire town, led by a large grassroots team, is working witht the town commission to help determine the best proposal that benefits both the theatre's preservation and the town's financial obligations.
boo hoo. we didn't make it on sunday, dayz had an fall & injured her arm, we spent sunday doing doctory things and missed you & the stones - we are losers !!
Well, it's not Dylan, but the Rolling Stones, instead. Our movie booker says all the 35mm prints of "I'm Not There" have been shipped to overseas markets. So, this weekend will be "Shine a Light" by acadamy award winning director, Martin Scorsese. http://www. youtube. com/watch?v=zuPQX20elpQ
Wow, was that awesome tonight, or what? Gone With the Wind has always been my #1 favorite movie, and now I had the chance to see it on the big screen. Thanks! Please bring it back again! I'd go see it again tomorrow, if it were there!
Humor from MST3k Episode 811: "Parts: The Clonus Horror"
Thanx for the add!! Your foundation reminded me of a line from Steven King's "IT" story. As Richie "Beep Beep" Tozier drives by his hometown theater in Derry, Maine the day of the adult reunion with his childhood friends, he notices a "Closed" sign on the theater marquee where he says, "Oh no not the Paramount you slime-balls! Where are the people of this town supposed to get their culture?" lol

Well, we've actually already seen it and I will definately tell Clay and Sus to go see it as it was great. Don't get me wrong, I would come see it (again) but we're going out of town this weekend so... Great movie though.(JUNO) Makes lite of a though subject with a bit of great wit and humor while keeping the seriousness of the subject.
I just wanted to say how proud I am to have the Grand Theatre in my town. I grew up at this theatre and every time I go to see a movie, I am brought right back to those happy memories. It's a beautiful theatre and run by the most amazing people. Last week, I was fortunate to see both Casablanca and Juno, both great experiences. I look forward to many more movies and more wonderful experiences. Thank you!
In the previous message, Jim talks about the "Bugeaters". Most people don't know, but before our Nebraska football team was called the Cornhuskers, they were known as the Bugeaters. Their upcoming film will deal with the birth of college football, in Nebraska, before 1900. Their film "Preserve Me a Seat" premiered at the GRAND.
Hi to all our friends at the beautiful GRAND THEATRE! "Bugeaters" is a work in progress - look for it in 2009 - and, of course, we want to show it at The Grand! Take care and keep showing those great movies (how I wish I could've seen "2001!" Jim
Tammy, You asked about tickets for Casa Blanca, at the GRAND, the movie series is through a group called Grand Island International Film Festival. Their website is (http://www.gifilmfest.org/). Their phone is (308)384-6816 The GRAND is where they show their classic movies. We are only the venue. We have enjoyed working together with them, to bring great, quality entertainment to Grand Island. You can buy your tickets from them in advance, although I doubt that would be nescessary.
Just wanted to say thanks for bringing Casa Blanca to the Grand. I can't wait! Can we buy tickets in advance? I wouldn't want to take a chance of missing this!
