Granite Station is a Teen Bluegrass band located in Clinton, Tennessee, just 40 miles west of Knoxville. The past 2 years they have worked together in achieving there dream. Together they have over 30 years of experience, and award winning musicians. Both Laycee Lee Mack (Nick Named Miss. Bluegrass by Mrs. Leona Williams -Merle Haggard's Ex Wife-) has been nominated, voted, and awarded by both (TCMA) Tennessee's Country Music Assoc., and (NACMAI) North Americas Country Music Assoc. Int'le Nashville Judges. McCoy Borg has won countless banjo competitions in the East Tennessee area, and clogging championships. Abbey Sinders is the baby of the group with a big voice and hads her own jazz licks. Granite Station has been featured on local news channels, who thinks that it is great that such young people are playing bluegrass music. They have also been featured on The Legendary Johnny Daniel's TV Show, in Nashville, Tennessee, Vance Smith's Grand Ole Hatchery in Memphis, Tennessee, David West's Home & Farm TV Show, in Oak RIdge, Tennessee, and The Nashville Spotlight in Nashville, Tennessee. They have albums playing in radio stations all over East Tennessee and Western Kentucky. They have two albums already out, and are hoping to make a new album in the later months of 2009'.
