"Close Your Eyes and Smile is something you can definitely do when you hear Grant Jones latest work. This is good country music. Country songwriting is an art that often appears deceptively easy. To do it well takes a special talent, and that is what Denton has in Grant Jones" Sheena V. Meyers Venues Music Magazine

I'm looking forward to seeing ya'll at Love & War tonight! I'm going to bring as many people as possible to cheer you on in the competition. Best of luck (although you don't really need luck, as great as you are...)

OLD CROW!
man, i have been jammin "bar lights, such a pretty glow" in my head since leaving UNT after graduation. I am back around in grapevine and look forward to hearing you play live again!!!!!!
sorry i'm such an asshole man! it really shouldn't have taken me this long to tell you that you played an amazing show at the city tavern the other night. it was a very pleasant surprise to see that you were up there rocking, when all i came to do was visit a friend. you are an extremely talented guy, and you've got a heart of infinite size. you have no idea how much your kind words and faith in me ACTUALLY means to me. in a word...priceless. Grant, i'll see you on the come around brother. oh yeah, spin "mr. jones" sometime this week for me! p.s. what was that mic you used to sing with?
Sounds like wind blowing in a wheatfield, train rolling down the line, rain coming down on a old tin shed, steel, wire and a rusty heart. Boots of leather and dust and ash. Mollasess and coal and stone. Wedding rings and buried bones of love broken and burnt. Tales and the footprints, ravenswings and souls are earnt.
Denton showing of the new movie "Coyote Funeral" is this thursday at 8:30 on the roof patio at Cool Beans. It's a bad ass new independent film shot in Texas and is kind of like a modern day Lonesome Dove, except that it's about two estranged brothers hitch hiking from Houston to El Paso instead of a cattle drive. Go to my top friends page and click on Coyote Funeral to view the trailer; see you there.
AWE SIT! I've been meaning to tell you THANK YOU so much for coming to the Part-A! It was great seeing yall....now it's my turn to venture out to Denton and visit yall.
