Things People Have Said, of Their Own Volition, About Graph:
"Gut-punching math rock kissed with jazz and melodic pop:
New Hampshire trio Graph make a big impact in a matter of only four songs on their latest self-titled EP, which finds them solving a complex musical equation: melding the frenzied technicality of math rock, the erratic precision of jazz and the melodic sensibility of pop. Some bands may falter in their genre-bending experiments, but not only does Graph have the instrumental and vocal chops to carry out its many headed sound seamlessly, it also pulls it off with enthusiasm and sincerity."
-Performer Magazine
"A mind-blowing trio. From one moment to the next these guys balance technical prowess on their instruments with visceral yawps and stabs of spontaneity."
Eric Gagne/Thing in the Spring
"Graph is infectious. They generate a lot of spontaneous melodies, harmonies and counter-lines, they sing and are not afraid to create in front of their peers, hop and bounce, bring grandpa. Graph is definitely the night's chosen flavor. They're not jazz or techno nerds, they're not fusion-freaks, punks, new wavers, they're not funkedliliacs. You might say, 'They sound like the Beastie Boys,' and be
dead wrong.
'The Beastly Gnomes?'"
-Gregory Devlin, Poet; Charlotte Observer
"Hoping some of their advanced vocabulary would rub off on us, we visited their Myspace page and listened to a few of their tracks. Admittedly, although we still wouldn't be able to explain to you the type of music they play, we can confidently say that they're worth checking out. Graph keeps you hooked with both music and lyrics and provides something different than the mindless drivel played on the radio nowadays. We'd take listening to their song, "The Banquet," over Lady Gaga's "Poker Face" any day."
-Cassie Pappathan/ Concord Insider
"The greatest band ever."
-Monadnock Ledger, May 5, 2009
"Matt Robidoux, the lead singer, wastes little time launching into the first track- this band does not fall prey to the fruit that tempts so many artists, mic time. Lacking an introduction, the energy is kept high...The syncopated hand claps on "New Place" are captured in full, and draw a rouse from the room."
-Off The Record music zine
"Graph is an odd juxtaposition of several musical styles that confound and exhilarate simultaneously"

Way to go in Performer dudes. That mag ain't an easy one to impress without beards, emotional neglect, skin tight pants and motivation derived from pseudo-apathy.
