Influences
No one type of music. I dislike categorizing music as much as I dislike being categorized. If a song is a great song, I don't care what it's called... It's just a good song! Among my many favorite artists are: Jimmy Buffett, Bruce Springsteen, Johnny Cash, Jack Johnson, The Beatles, Maria Daines, Bob Marley, Eric Clapton, Michael Buble, Big and Rich, Rolling Stones, Bruce Cockburn, Toby Keith, Bob Seger, Elvis, John Mellencamp, Neil Diamond, Blues Brothers, SRV, Rob Thomas, Dylan, Tom Petty, George Thorogood, CSNY, Kris Kristofferson, 3 doors down, Dave Dudley, David Gray, Uncle Kracker, Kenny Chesney, BB King, Louis Armstrong...
Hi! My name is Mickey, and I'm a Songwriter/singer... happily married with two great kids, and currently living in Green Bay, Wisconsin. I have been playing music professionally since my Sophomore year in High School, so I guess you could say I've been around! Of course, over those years I've slid into a number of different phases and styles... Rock and Roll, Country, and Buffett style Trop Rock. My live shows are pretty diverse... Covering tunes by Bob Seger, Hinder, Johnny Cash, Neil Diamond, Nickelback, Bob Marley, John Mellencamp, Seether, Jimmy Buffett, Bruce Springsteen, SRV... Too many to go into! Check the left side of my page for a sample song list. I've taken something to keep from each, and I hope that has made me a betterwriter and performer. A few of my songs have been recorded by other artists, and I am still as active as ever in my songwriting. Today, I perform all over Northeast Wisconsin and I hope to continue making new friends through my music, and myspace!
