THE TEA PARTIES IN THE VIDEO ARE PLANNED TO OCCUR AROUND TAX TIME OR APRIL 15. 2009. THE PURPOSE OF THE ORIGINAL BOSTON TEA PARTY WAS TO PROTEST AND NOT PAY THE TEA TAX LEVIED ON THE COLONISTS BY THE BRITISH. I BELIEVE THAT THE SAME THOUGHT OF NOT PAYING INCOME TAX TO PROTEST BARACK OBAMA’S ECONOMIC POLICIES HAS OCCURRED TO SOME OF THOSE PLANNING AND ATTENDING THE CURRENT ROUND OF TEA PARTIES. SUCH A TAX REVOLT COULD BE THE MODERN DAY FORT SUMTER LEADING US INTO ANOTHER AMERICAN CIVIL WAR.
PLEASE PRAY THAT THE TEA PARTIES ARE INDEED SILLY.
IN 2006, BEFORE THE ELECTION, WHEN HE COULD TALK ABOUT IT, BARACK OBAMA GAVE THE FOLLOWING 40 MINUTE SPEECH ABOUT HOW HE BECAME A CHRISTIAN, WHAT HIS FAITH MEANS TO HIM AND THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN CHRISTIANITY AND POLITICS. DURING THE ELECTION HE COULD NOT SAY MUCH ABOUT HIS FAITH BECAUSE HE HAD TO GET ELECTED AS A DEMOCRAT.
WHEN BARACK OBAMA CAME TO CHICAGO HE HAD NO REAL STRONG VIEWS ON CHRISTIANITY ONE WAY OR THE OTHER. HE BECAME A CHRISTIAN WHEN HE SAW THAT THE CHURCHES HAD THE POWER TO BRING ABOUT THE SOCIAL CHANGE HE WAS SEEKING AND ONLY A COALITION OF CHURCHES WOULD HIRE HIM (GOD PULLED HIM IN AND SET HIM UP). HE REALIZED THAT THE BLACK CHURCHES WERE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE WHOLE BLACK CIVIL RIGHTS MOVEMENT THAT MADE IT POSSIBLE FOR SOMEONE LIKE HIM TO BE PRESIDENT.
