About me:
In my 37th year, I left my Healing Arts Practice in Portland, Oregon, sold and gave away everything I owned, loaded up the simplicity of my life into my car, and embarked on this Soulful Pilgrimage to Inspire, Motivate, and Empower People to get Creative about Being the Change they want to See in the World! Taking a leap of faith and embracing the unknown, I have been traveling on the winds of change for over two years now.......

As I travel the paths of visionaries, teachers, warriors, healers, activists, earth stewards, artisans, and everyday amazing people I meet along the way, I am planting “seeds of change” and documenting my journey through authentically speaking interviews that explore the meaningful questions that I am currently circling in the landscapes of my own living, learning, and loving.......
Without a doubt, it has become increasingly clear that the world is craving something more, something different, something innovative. That in order to make change we are each being invited to step to our edges, to live with intention, define our potential, color outside the lines, and stand in the courage it takes to let go of quick fix strategies that have grown tired from over consumption. The time is clearly now for us to discover powerful ways to work in meaningful collaborations, to tap into our ancient wisdom, and to find healthy and sustainable solutions in relationship to self, other, and the planet that we share.........

Maybe one of these “seeds of change” was tangibly given to you, or maybe you heard about this project through the synchronicity of things- Maybe you crossed paths with me, as I travel on the winds of change, maybe you found a (seed) when it mysteriously showed up on the bulletin board of your favorite coffee house, or maybe just maybe you where driving behind a blue Suzuki Sidekick and thought to yourself: “when I get home I definitely want to look up that girl’s website”-
The possibilities are truly endless when we slow down and take the time to realize that we are all connected in important and meaningful ways........
In all honesty, I am just a simple girl, who started this whole thing with the inspiration that something could be done and that we each have the power to be that something. I believe that there are many inspiring stories out there that reflect the innovative ways that individuals and organizations are choosing to be in order to make a significant difference in the world that we share. This adventure is the way in which I have chosen to get creative about being the change with my life.........
"BEING THE CHANGE ON A HANDFUL OF CHANGE": The vision of Grassroots Medicine is to authentically illustrate the power of inspiration, creatively, compassion, intention, integrity, and courage in the process of cultivating positive change! The significance of this journey and its meaningful work is currently empowered through the generosity of the incredible people in my life and the enriching support that is contributed by the soulful strangers and “noble knights” that synchronistically show up in the miles that I travel through each day. Words consistently fall short to adequately express the gratitude that I feel to each and every individual who has participated, collaborated, and contributed to making this important journey possible! Each of you has brought a width and depth of empowerment in your willingness to believe that we each have the power to co-create and cultivate positive change-
I want to express my utmost value, respect, and gratitude to all the “important threads”- Each incredible individual and organization who is synchronistically showing up to enrich, nourish, and empower the “dream weaving” that is this meaningful project! I am forever blessed by all the “noble knights” who have generously contributed to this journey; those extraordinary individuals who have shown up when I have been down to my last inch and have boldly liberated me and this project from the lost and found! I am so grateful to each and every one of you for helping me to keep this dream alive, healthy, and sustainable! It is because of you that this life changing experience is my everyday reality

As I travel deeper into my own uncharted territory, this journey continues to be my greatest teacher, as well as, a consistent reminder that the possibilities are truly endless when we take the time to realize that we are all connected in meaningful ways and that our worth is not measured by the things that we have or the "currency" of our circumstances, but more importantly in the boldness of our vision, the power of our choices, and the contributions of our character...........
