Acoustic folk and Jam Band music. Singer Songwriter straight from the heart kind of music!
So you'd like to hear about Grateful Beth and the Volunteers...Huh? Well it all started out with a little festival called The Grateful Garcia Gathering. In 2004, Beth volunteered to help out and get into The Grateful Garcia Gathering for free to camp and hear some good tunes. An amazing guy named Mondo was in charge of the volunteers and he had everyone parking cars. So many friends and family were made at this intimate festival. Beth had such a great time she wrote a song about the whole event. Exactly one year later in 2005 Grateful Beth was invited up on stage to sing her heart out and let everyone know how much she loves the 3 G's festival. Sharing the stage with legends like Melvin Seals and JGB. Grateful Beth and The Volunteers were now on the jam band map. The 3 G's in 2006 Grateful Beth and the Volunteers(GBV) played a full set on the main stage which opened up so many doors for the band. In 2007 GBV opened Fridays festivities on the main stage once again. This time opening for musical Legends G.E Smith and Pete Sears of Moonalice, The Grateful Dead's Donna Jean and the Tricksters and Melvin Seals and JGB......just to name a few. Grateful Beth and the Volunteers are all about the music, peace, love, and family. The Grateful Garcia Gathering Festival is just the begining of the open road. You can usually catch Grateful Beth every Wednesday night playing harmonica and percussion with a folkadelic band called Moonhouse at the Up North Pub in Madison Wisconsin. Come on down and show your support for local music! Currently Grateful Beth and the Volunteers are hard at work writing music and getting ready for the 3 G's 2008 which will be held at Legend Valley in Ohio. Keep your eyes and ears peeled for Grateful Beths debut album which will be released at the end of '07 begining '08. If you are interested in booking please contact GBV at b_zaccard@yahoo.com. Peace and lots of love
