"To the ear of the primal musician, what is important is not melody as we understand it in the West but the ENTIRE SOUND of the music, its complete tonal and rhythmical reality. The totality of this musical experience touches the consciousness; not because of the magic of the words or the emotion of the music but because of the motion of the whole sound. For example, the mantra of the Yoga and the dervish call are significant not because of the MEANINGS but because of the SOUNDS. It is the domination of Logos which has made us look for meaning in the music of the West, rather than listening for the immediacy of SOUND ITSELF......Nature is the aesthetic perfection with which we aspire to become identical, harmonious, and bound by immediacy and wholeness. It is therefore not surprising that among primal people music is the sound of the natural world made immediate and vivid by the perceptual miracle of the ear." -JAMAKE HIGHWATER "The Primal Mind" (1981)

We have just added several new song ideas and revamped our profile look. We should have more new songs up in the next couple of days, as well as new material on Thus The Tensilemen, Kittychan, and Patriarchal Sounds. Please join us in this repentance of playlist and leave us feedaback on our new songs when you invite us to hear your new sounds because as always we love reading what you have to say about our creations, so let us know what you think.

We are gonna be playing our sounds again on July 21st up some canyon in Logan. We are going to miss out on seeing Built To Spill playing that night so you know its got to be fun. Bring a tent and some songs to sing.
