Gravedale High was formed back in 2006 by Evildave and Hellvis with one purpose - playing kick ass horror-themed punk rock! Renfield and Filthy Chas were quickly recruited to guitar and bass, and original sticksman Dr. Ded completed the lin up. After a period of writing and rehearsing, they thrilled crowds at the Cricketer's Rest with their first show, on halloween of 2006. Dr. Ded was replaced by Jimmy Gore on skins, finishing off the Original line up.
More gigs followed over the next year, including an appearance at the 2007 Eastern Haze festival, before the band took a year long hiatus while EvilDave left to play with THE GRAVEYARD JUNKIES. Hellvis and Jimmy Gore have now parted ways with the band and have been replaced by ASH on drums and Adrian Crowley on vocals, completing the new and current line-up
