Love music, live music...
I bought a computer in the year 2000, and through a long hard process pretty much self taught myself how to use it, and then all of the music software, all with a little help from my friends!! Many a night of creativity then started to flow, many collaborations began to happen.. More musical people started to walk into my life. So then, just over a year ago i felt the music was starting to get to a good level to where i thought we should take this further!! upgraded my bedroom studio to more of a professional home studio.. And not looked back since..
Graveltrax Recordings was created to promote my music production/engineering, songwriting/composing, my collaborations with others, and my fantastically talented friends music. Also any other local talent that wants to be part of our growing community.. Graveltrax.com is now here!!! further expanding our network and spreading the vibe...
Cynchronicity is based within the chillout genre, heavily influenced by my early music listening days of chill/reggae/ambient etc.. with a strong input of home made sampling of sounds and voices, and a variety of tracks with vocalist Rachel Payne..
Block up a stookie is graveltrax's take on the alternative scene, giving us a different sound to the norm, using a strong blend of electonic and world music, with a bit of breakbeat and drum n bass thrown in!!
There is also a variety of music i create that seem to be more one offs where the term genre doesn't nesserceraly come into play, or projects that will probably never even get released. Prevous projects involve artists such as Kerryanne (vocalist),Trixi (vocalist), Jeni Dennis (vocalist), Martino (vocalist), Steve Little (vocalist), Jon Land (Dj/Producer), Jon Tidy (dj/producer), miricle conspircy (producer), plus many more....
In between all that i have been taking on numerous production projects, letting guitarists, vocalists, dj's etc... come into the studio and do their own thing. Recent projects involve Ollie Banks (guitar/vocalist), Steve Tout (house dj @ Release), Rob Baylis (house dj @ desire) amongst a few...
Then there is my dance music involvement, as well as creating a variety of tracks in different genres of dance. Working with many different singers.. My main projects on the go at the moment involving Martino, Rachel Payne, and a few new interesting singers ive been working with all will be finished soon for availability on the website.. On top of that my friend Dj Jon Land and i have got together and started promoting our own dance nights in our local area called Release which is predominately underground house music.. Jon and our other resident Steve Tout do their thing on the decks, while when im not doing a live set im running about like a mad head!!!!!! We far prefer doing outdoor gig and parties in the middle of nowhere, ha ha.. and i think thats mainly what we'll do this year, (if ya local keeping looking here or the main website for annoucements or just ask!!)
