Gravenloch is a unique blend of Black Death and Thrash Metal hailing from Snohomish County Washington. It all started in 2002 when three long time friends (Sean,Scott and Art) started jamming and writing music. After a few years they were joined by Beau Galloway, also long time friend and former member of Blood Ritual. Together they formed and worked hard to perfect their sound. They were holed up in a practice room three nights aweek for a year or so. Then in early 07 Storms, (former front man of Fully Loaded) having heard them for months through the walls of their jam room next door, showed interest in doing the vocals. They tried him out and it was undeniable that their sound was complete. They entered Studio 69 in Lake Stevens and recorded a 9 songs. But when Only 4 got finished mixing after close to $5000 spent on the project. They decided to cut their losses so in November 2007 they released a four song demo ($5 available at shows). They also began playing shows around the area getting a great response.
Now finaly after two years of great local shows. We would like to thank all our fans and friends who stuck with us and reward them with the long awaited release of our first full length album on June 27 09. We recorded at LOW CUT studio in Seattle and are verry pleased with our experience there. If you like Gravenloch you'll love this album!
