Hi Jenny,
I been quite busy revising for my exams in the last few days as time is drawing up to the first one.
I have three to do, Monday 15th, Wednesday 17th and Friday 19th of June. Then the rest of the summer will be spent working on my dissertation.
The really hot weather is continuing all through the weekend and that makes it hard to sleep.
Maybe, i'll take my books up to the park on saturday afternoon. lol
There's not much going on here now as most of the undergrads are away home for the summer holidays and there are very few students left here on the campus. The library remains open all summer, it never closes but they use the summer for doing renovation. There are lots of hammers and drills all over the place, it seems to happen every year. The renovation makes it almost impossible to study in the place. They're never satisfied with leaving it the way it is. The library is actually smaller than most other university's libraries but yet my university is the 6th largest in the country. I think they like to keep improving it as it looks good as a show-piece library and it probably persuades a lot of folks to choose this university when they tour the university on an open-day. However, to be properly functional it needs to be much bigger.
Other than that, i'll spend a bit of time listening to music and playing my guitar. I'll be putting up new songs on youtube soon but it's just for fun...nothing serious..!

How's things? I'm glad to hear that your exams have gone well. I have some exams to do in several weeks and i need to do more work for them.
Will you be watching the football tonight? I'll probably go out to the pub to watch it.
Everything is very quiet here in Preston as most of the students have gone home for the summer. However, there are still some hanging around. I wish they would clear-off, especially the girl that lives upstairs from me and is always complaining about my guitar noise.
All is very quiet with me and i'm not doing much else.

I'm pleased to hear the you had a nice birthday.
I'm sorry to hear about your cat. There are so many idiots out on the roads these days. The young boys who have just completed their driving tests are the worst. Those boys are literally lethal weapons in their cars.
I've had a busy last couple of days with my assignments but i handed one in yesterday. I was sitting in the library from 6pm on thurdsay evening until 7am on friday morning to get it finished. It's hard to work when you are tired.
I'm going to take it easy now for a couple of days...plenty of sleep:-)
So, you are lucky to be going to that concert in Denmark. I've never been to Denmark, have you been before?
What are you doing this weekend?
Have you finished school for the year? Are you now waiting for exam results and thinking about university? Where have you applied to study?

Ohje, das mit eurer Katze tut mir leid! Ich kann mir vorstellen, wie schlimm das ist. Häng' ja auch sehr an meiner Mietze und die hat auch schon so einiges mitgemacht... :/ Aber zum Glück ist eurer Katze ja nicht noch was Schlimmeres passiert! Ich hoff', dass es ihr ganz bald wieder besser geht!!
Achja, die mündlichen Prüfungen... Stimmt, die stehen bei unseren 13ern ja auch noch an. Wie ist das bei euch so? Musst du die in mehreren Fächern machen oder nur in einem? Weil wir müssen auf jeden Fall in einem zur mündlichen Prüfung, der Rest ist freiwillig, falls man meint, dass man sich noch in 'nem Fach verbessern möchte...
Ja, ansonsten geht's mir ganz okay, es sind ja auch bald wieder Ferien, das hebt die Stimmung. ;) Konzerte hab' ich für dieses Jahr bis jetzt mal 5 im Plan. :) Als nächstes werd' ich Snow Patrol sehen, was eine ziemlich spontane Entscheidung war. :D Das Ticket kam erst gestern. :)
Ja, Johns Gig in Kopenhagen... Ansich würd' ich ihn echt gerne mal solo sehen, aber es ist halt schon'n Stück nach Kopenhagen und eigentlich wollte ich in den Sommerferien noch nach England, bin da grad' am Planen. :)
