About me: My name is Kim. I currently live in a cornfield of a town in Northwest Ohio named McClure. I was born and raised in "Downriver" Michigan, in a quiet little suburb filled with soccer moms and rednecks, nestled right next to the urban decay of beloved Detroit. ( detroit is the best city in my opinion) i have an amazing boyfriend named Josh, I love furniture styles from the 1950's to the early 1960s. I absolutely adore Thrift Stores & garage sales. also i love fashion design from the 1930s to the early 60s. the only good thing to come from my ex bfs were music tastes. through my ex's i found punk music then rockabilly music,so i guess you could say im a rockabilly gal. i may not dress vintage everyday like some ladies but im not rich and i prefer have my electric stay on then to have a one of a kind vintage dress that was modeled after a dress Bettie Page wore. i rather sew my dresses. im huge into D.I.Y. so me in a nutshell im just a gal that is overly obsessed with the vintage life

Things are going okay. How are things for you? I didn't get to go to the fireworks either...had to work. I went to the Ecorse fireworks though, on the 4th, so I'm happy I got to see some fireworks.
ooo. Thats fun! My grandmother told me that I would have her 1950s sewing machine ( that doesn't work) and the desk it fits in from the 50s. But I've yet to pick it up. I need to clear other things inmy room or in my sewing room.

But sewing room= best thing you will ever get! I have had one for a couple years now and its nice to have a space just for being creative.
Im doing okay. Pretty bored. I havent done much this summer. Im trying to get some pinup shoots in, but Im having trouble find girls that want to do pionup in western mass.
Yeah, but if I were rich, I would look that good at that age, too, lol. She was awesome in the 80's, but enough of the club music...who even listens to that shit? And I wish she would wear more clothes...but I still love her...just her music now sucks :)
it was not to awful bad it was the whole wakin up and trying to remeber where i was process that was the pain lol.yeah i was every where last night making my rounds. there is only one of me so it makes it kinda hard naw it is cool and it was killer getting to finally meet we will have to do it again some time and with my bad memory it will be like the first time everytime hahahahahahahaha.
