For Everything You Need To Know About Blues In Minneapolis, St. Paul and the Twin Cities Metro - Blues Calendar, Discussion Forum And More
(St Paul, MN) Shh! It’s a surprise. Tell everybody you know, except Mojo! Legendary bluesman and Minnesota Blues Hall of Fame award-winner, Mojo Buford is turning 80 years-old and his family is throwing a surprise birthday party for him at Dean’s Tavern on Sunday, November 8th from 6 to 9 pm. Rockin’ Daddy & the Rough Cuts will be providing the music along with other special guests including Dave “Cool Breeze” Brown. Mojo’s family would like all of his fans and friends to have the opportunity to share in his 80th birthday celebration. So, spread the word. Just don’t tell Mojo. Dean’s Tavern is located at 1986 Rice St just north of Roselawn Avenue in St Paul’s North End (well, technically I guess it’s in Maplewood). Food and beverages are available. A $5 cover will go to the band and to Mojo as a birthday gift.
