PRESENTATION DU LABEL :
Le label associatif Greatest Friends Records est créé en 2006 dans le but de produire des artistes reggae issus des scènes yvelinoise (78), nationale et internationale. Il est composé par le Control Tower Sound et certains membres de l’association Kalitea (78). Les artistes travaillent sur des rythmiques composées par le Miseh Record Crew (MRC), et le Chapter 12 Studio.
MRC est un crew de compositeurs reggae du 78, inspirés principalement par le style « rockers », et le « rub-a-dub » des eighties. Ils apportent à cet héritage leur touche personnelle et très intéressante.
Chapter 12 est un compositeur, chanteur, arrangeur. Auteur de nombreuses compositions et rythmiques très riches en influences.
Greatest Friends peut donc proposer un large panel de rythmiques aux artistes, et pour le moins variées. Un travail se fait en étroite collaboration avec les chanteurs Roger Banton, Mota Favela, Zion Irie, Tony Lova. Mais aussi Ras Mac Bean, Lorenzo, Prince Theo, Queen Omega et d’autres artistes encore.

Sortie janvier 2008 de la série Crisis, en 45tours avec :
Ras Mac Bean (Row your boat), Zion Irie feat Steel Pulse (Music is fire), Roger Banton (Crisis) et Prince Theo (Faya bun dem).
Musique composée par le MRC, mixée et arrangée par R. Andrieu et R. Nguyen.
Sortie JUIN 2008 du 45tours "GANJA TOO MUCH"avec :
Ras Mac Bean (Lambsbread) et King Lorenzo (High Grade).

PRESENTATION :
The label Greatest Friends Records was created in 2006 with the aim of promoting reggae singers from France and the whole world. It is composed by the Control Tower Sound and some reggae addicts from Sqyland (south west of Paris suburbs). Singers work on riddims made by the Miseh Records Crew (MRC) and the Chapter 12 Studio.
MRC is reggae composers’crew, inspired by rockers and rub a dub styles. They bring to this Jamaican heritage their own interesting musical touch. Chapter 12 is a composer, singer, arranger and author of numerous riddims with many different influences.
Greatest Friends is able to offer many different riddims to the singers they meet. They work side by side with Roger Banton, Mota Favela, Zion Irie and Tony Lova from France but also Ras MacBean, Lorenzo, Prince Theo and others…
TOPICALITY :
Release in January 2008 of the Crisis riddim (3x7 inch) with: Ras MacBean (Row your boat), Zion Irie & David Hinds from Steel Pulse (Music is fire), Roger Banton (Crisis) and Prince Theo (Faya bun dem). Riddim composed by the MRC, mixed and arranged by Chapter 12 and Rudy Nguyen.
Release in June 2008 :"Ganja Too Much Riddim" with: Ras MacBean (Lambsbread) & King Lorenzo (High Grade). Riddim composed by C12, mixed and arranged by Gussie P, mastering by Serial P at Dubwise Factory.
Realease in November 2008 de 4 X 7" "MUSIC RIDDIM" with :
