About Great Lakes

Great Lakes formed around the songs of lyricist Dan Donahue, and Ben Crum in 1996. The band is currently made up of Crum and whoever he happens to be playing with at any given moment. Mostly these days the band is just Crum on guitar and drummer Kevin Shea on drums, though upwards of 25 musicians have played with Great Lakes over the years. They're fourth record is forthcoming - hopefully in 2010.

Dima	Mar 28 2009 9:50 PM When I was working for the Obama campaign in Ohio, I can remember having one of my worst days (not enough volunteers, car broken down, no sleep) and walking along, decided to get some music on, put on Diamond Times, and listening to Farther, and when it got to the crescendo just breaking down crying on the street where I stood. For the last six weeks of the campaign, that album kept me sane. Thank you so much. And please tell me when you're playing again.
