About me:
My husband Glen and I have been selling real estate in the Las Vegas Valley since 1983. We have two sons, Eric and Jeff, who were born and raised in the Valley and who have now joined us in our business along with a great group of agents who share our vision of customer service. We are now affilitated with Prudential Americana and have the most wonderful people in the world to work with.
Prior to joining Prudential Americana in January of 2005, the we were at Century 21 and were ranked #1 in the state of Nevada and the Southwest Region for sales, as well as placing in the top 20 of all agents nationally. We decided to make the move to Prudential Americana because of Prudential’s advanced technology in the Las Vegas marketplace and the company’s commitment to quality service. Within less than a year the we placed within the top 10 of all Prudential agents nationwide for number of homes sold.
"Buy when everyone is selling, sell when everyone is buying." Those are the keys to success in the real estate market. Currently there are some great deals to be had in the Valley where neophyte investors of the 2003 and 2004 "boom" cycle used exotic financing to purchase properties they thought they would be able to flip. Who I'd like to meet:
I would love to meet the women of FORCE in person. FORCE is a coalition of women from http://www.facingourrisk.org, a non profit genetic cancer foundation. I was diagnosed with breast cancer in November of 2006, and was frantically weighing surgical alternatives. My local HMO had only one plastic surgeon within my plan, and he did not believe in mastectomy with immediate reconstruction. In researching breast cancer on the internet, I came across the FORCE web site and joined the forum looking for information. I was immediately welcomed with open arms, even though I was not a genetic cancer carrier.
These amazing women helped me get the information I needed to make a wise decision (I ended up flying to New York to have my surgery done) and are now supporting me through chemotherapy and recovery. There is not a more generous, intelligent, caring group of women on this planet, and I am honored to call them my friends. I have only met a few of them, but I am looking forward to next year's conference when I can go thank them in person for everything they have done for me.
