    It's hard to believe in anything these days. But there is truth out there. It can be found in a second encore in front of 20 people at a dirty bar. Or in a basement, where a riff is practiced over and over until it's perfect. There is truth in rock and roll. It's there for the fans and the musicians. Great Rooms are both. Even though they come from different musical backgrounds, everyone in Great Rooms shares similar tastes and influences. The roots of their sound go much deeper than contemporary examples. They reach to the grit and gravel of the crossroads, where blues and real country were born; they dip into smoky arenas of 70s rock built on strong riffs and backbone rhythms supporting thoughtful, layered lyrics and harmonies; they pull from the raw energy and soul of the 60s. The result is a sound that is both unique and universal, a result of four musicians soaking up good music regardless of genre. It taps into the truth of rock and roll - not a truth that can be quantified and pinned down – but you get it when you hear it. And you'll want to hear it again.
