Greek Elf was born in 2007, created by Vitel like a solo project. At the beginning, Vitel calling his solo project under the pseudonym ELFO, and was recorded an EP named “Vodoo Lov” without intent of distribution. Early, at the end of the 2008, Vitel recorded a few new songs, and at this time he invite Simon M. to participate playing guitars in the project. After that, Vitel invite the bassist Mark A. (also the photoeditor) to play and other friends to form the perceptive band.
In 2009 Greek Elf finish his first official disc named “Insight”. The name of the disc has a few meanings, the first meaning its the cognitive-psychological mean of the term (to understand in the sudden form of a inner reality, connect with yourself), because all the songs in this disc its about the personal experiences of the song writer. The lyrical theme its very abstract, can be very ambiguous trying to understand because the lyrics are written in a very personal way, the description of the phenomenon at the moment is experience and the experience its subject to the linguistic processes, our only way of making concrete reality.
