    TVC or Tender violent chords formed in 1981 in athens greece. They were from the first new wave bands in greek rock scene. Sharp Ties formed in 1980. A band musically somewhere between new wave and the Specials (just see the video) South of no North formed in 1984. They took their name fron a book title of Charles Bukowski.

This page is dedicated to 80s greek post punk / new wave scene. Visit us at greekpostpunk.blogspot.com. You can read some infos about greek bands (44 until now) and listen a track from each band. It is a small effort to make the scene more known outside greece. A very good introduction to greek post punk/new wave scene is "Return of the Creeps - The singles". Creep records was the one of the two independent post punk labels which released the majority of the post punk records, singles in greece. The other one was Smash records.
