About Green Owl

Green Owl Records is an independent record label dedicated to putting out fresh music from a diverse community of artists. We recently released two limited edition 7in albums from THE VERY BEST (featuring Esau Mwamwaya and Radioclit) and the Brooklyn punk outfit, THE SO SO GLOS. You can find them both in the GREEN OWL STORE. Both records are hand-packed in corn-based material and a 100% recycled sleeve printed by windpower using vegetable-based inks.

At the core of our label is the practice of sustainability. We make this happen by staying as true to the environment as we can. From 100% recycled vinyl records to post consumer packaging to veggie oil powered school busses we seek to redefine and expand the record labels function. On top of reducing our carbon footprint we offset, with Native Energy, all of the energy spent on the production and distribution of Green Owl releases.
