Bio
WOW, a super-duper group that plays cool songs for kids about nature! The Green Apple Kids Band write songs that cultivate a reverence for the environment featuring a mix of energetic and thought provoking tunes for the young and the young at heart. Formed with a mission to inspire kids to celebrate and care for our Earth, the band performs their eco-flavored songs about nature, animals and recycling in a fun, engaging and highly interactive presentation. Focusing on ages 2-8, the band can tailor their show to specific age groups for schools, libraries, festivals, company functions, childcare/enrichment centers and special events. The Green Apple Kids' story is set in the imaginary world of the Green Apple Orchard and features special puppet guests; Ty the Woodsman and Willa the Worm, two eco-buddies who care for the green apple trees and keep a watchful eye on its eco-system. Another friend is the playfully mischievous Sock Monster, a strong advocate of Energystar appliances who loves to steal socks from your dryer! All together, they present a lively and entertaining show that children love and learn from as well. The band has also developed a music enrichment program for infants, toddlers and preschoolers called The Green Apple Kids Club. With goals to inspire a life long love for the land, its animals, and the music that enhances our presence, the Kids Club is a wonderful opportunity to instill a sense of caring for the Earth in the very young. Please visit our website for more information. The members of the Green Apple Kids Band are not ecologists, scientists, grade school teachers or the like, yet are three everyday folks who met through music and were motivated enough by what they see and hear to create something unique with their talents to help the cause for saving our planet. "We simply want to project a message of hope and diligence in our songs to inspire a respect for the environment in these challenging times and to show that saving our Earth, while a serious task, can be part of a fun and satisfying lifestyle. With the goal of empowering our children to become responsible, caring and knowledgeable adults who will someday grow up to be the custodians of our planet, the Green Apple Kids Band chooses to make a difference." for booking call cheryl, 401-289-2684 .. -
