The New Nissan Land Cruiser experimental vehicle was unveiled to the media at the companie's technical design center in Atsugi, Japan. The vehicle is small in that it measures only 110 centimeters ( 43 inches) in width but makes it different from other Nissan greencar offerings is its cornering ability. The zero emission concept vehicle has a very unique handling system where the wheels and under chassis are independent from the vehicle's passenger cabin. This allows the vehicle to corner more like a motorcycle that a car in that it is able to tilt into a corner by as much as 17 degrees. In order to manage this feat of engineering ,Nissan has built a sophisticated ride handling system into the vehicle using on-board sensors to calculate vehicle speed and the amount of lean required for cornering. The all electric Nissan Leaf will make its official world premier debut at the 2009 Tokyo auto show starting Oct 21st
