My interests are widely spread.
I like music. Music means a lot to me and I see it as a perfect way to express myself. Well, this doesn't mean that I'm playing music myself. I'm totally unable to play any instrument. Please don't challenge me to sing; you'd seriously regret it.
Writing keeps me sane.
I like visual arts, be it paintings, comics, movies, whatever...
I like to communicate, be it in person or on the net. I'm working at an institution for the rehabilitation of mentally disordered...uhhh...people.
I don't have many friends; the few I have are scattered across the globe. I'm not good at keeping in touch. Sorry, that's nothing to take personal... I have a wonderful daughter. Her name is Johanna Porcelina (her second name is stolen from one of my favorite albums). Seeing her growing up is the best I have in life by now.
I'm living with my lovely girlfriend in a nice appartment in Eimsbüttel, which is one of the nicest districts of the city I live in. My girlfriend is a psychologist, but refuses to cure me off my insane habits...
I did travel a lot when i was younger (early 20s),have been to asia four times and stayed there for several months each. I had breakfast with a bunch of psychopath backpackers on the wrong side of the bhurmesian border. I also like RPG's a lot and i've got a fantastic gaming group that meets far too seldom...
Music
I'm a lost child of the alternative generation. I grew up with songs by The Smiths, Neil Young, The Cure, David Bowie and The Velvet Underground because my father is obsessed with music and I can't remember a single day where there wasn't music in the house I grew up in.
As I was a teen, Grunge exploded in the musical world and there I found my own obsession in the music of The Smashing Pumpkins.
I saw them live whenever I had the opportunity to do so and I travelled far across europe to see them perform. I first saw them in a small venue in Hamburg in 1992 and many times after.
'Goodfellas', 'Casino', 'Once Upon A Time In America', 'Nosferatu', 'The Ring' (scariest movie ever!), 'American Gangster', 'Shadow Of The Vampire', 'A Clockwork Orange', 'Event Horizon', 'El Topo', 'Devil's Advocate', 'Cape Fear', 'Things To Do In Denver When You're Dead', 'Im Juli', 'Absolute Giganten' (this one always gives me chills...), 'The Big Lebowski', 'Ravenous', '23', 'Casshern', 'Gattaca', 'Rosemary's Baby', 'Angel Heart', 'Bladerunner', 'Aguirre, Wrath Of God'
Television
I don't ever watch TV. I don't like it. Back when i was young, TV wasn't that stuffed up with commercials and dumbness (but things from the past always appear brighter...). Sometimes i like to watch soccer, mostly in pubs.
Oh! Update! I really like to watch 'Heroes' nowadays! Best series ever!
Books
My favourite writers are Jack Kerouac, Goethe, Charles Bukowski, H.P. Lovecraft, Williams S. Burroughs, Irvin Welsh, Bret Easton Ellis (I met him once, which was cool...), Alex Garland, HG Wells, Frank Schulz (who's a fantastically funny german author), Philipp K. Dick, Robert Wilson, Ernesto 'Che' Guevara and George R.R. Martin.
Heroes
Heroes? Idols?
I live by myself. But this doesn't mean, that i don't respect people. Idolism just feels like blind devotion to me and i'm not into this (never been).
There are quite some people that i respect for their works, for the stars they reached for and for making the impossible possible.
These people (in no particular order) are David Bowie and Billy Corgan, Juri Gargarin, Juan Gimenez, Frank Miller, Dschinghis Khan, Moebius and HR Giger.
About me: The Good, The Bad & The Ugly, all combined into one person. Another shade of me...

Update: I won't post blogs here anymore. If you're interested in keeping up with my (sometimes boring and quite frustrating) life, check out my blog @ http://greenfeyboy.livejournal.com/
This place here is dying earth and I'm not interested in sticking around here much longer. Thanks for being friends.
